- Identify key firearms parts and ammunition types
- Know how to perform basic firearm maintenance and storage
- Recognize and clear common firearm malfunctions
- Understand Nevada laws and regulations
- Explain civil and criminal liabilities
- Demonstrate situational awareness and de-escalation strategies
- Select and properly use concealed carry gear
- Execute fundamental shooting skills
- Demonstrate and have the knowledge of being a responsible CCW permit holder
