Pistol 2

This course adds on to Pistol 1 by involving more practical based training. You can only do so much on a static range, this is where that changes. This relaxed class and with simple sets of drills will either refine your shooting or reveal areas that need more practice.

Prerequisite: Student MUST know and be able to demonstrate how to perform the topics covered in Pistol 1.

Topics to be covered:

  • Revisit: Speed vs Accuracy
  • Sight confirmations: 1, 2, and 3
  • Moving and shooting
  • Moving while shooting
  • Moving while reloading
  • Target transitions
  • Practical scoring & drills (static & non-static)

What to bring:

  • Modern semi-automatic pistol & ammo (no micro or pocket pistols)
  • A good holster that covers trigger guard (No leather, nylon or serpa holsters)
  • Eye protection (Mandatory)
  • Ear protection (Mandatory) [electronic ear protection recommended]
  • 3 magazines
  • Sturdy belt
  • Sturdy footwear for range movement
  • Water and snacks
  • Weather appropriate clothing. No low neckline shirts. Toe-covered shoes.
