Become a responsible ccw permit holder.

Prerequisite: Be able to safely handle, load, accurately fire, and unload pistol.

This is not meant for new shooters wanting to learn to shoot – please consider Pistol Fundamentals.

Upon successful completion you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate proper safety, handling, draws from holster, shooting skills with speed and accuracy, and more
  • Take away key tips regarding firearms and concealed carry gear
  • Understand relevant NV laws, liabilities, and eligibility
  • Learn situational awareness, de-escalation strategies, and responsible concealed carry practices
  • Be eligible to apply for a 5 year CCW permit
  • Remain equipped and encouraged to continue consistent training and uphold high standards

What to bring (for all CCW classes):

  • A modern semi-automatic handgun (revolvers, micro / pocket pistols, or Sig-Sauer P320’s not allowed). You do not need to qualify with what you plan to carry (but it is recommended).
  • Ammo x200 (manufactured store-bought only).
  • Smart phone/tablet (used to download PDFs via QR code).
  • A good holster. Fits and retains gun, covers trigger area, and stays secured to belt. (No leather, nylon, or serpa holsters)
  • Sturdy belt
  • 2 magazines minimum
  • Eye and ear protection (electronic recommended)
  • Sturdy toe-covered footwear
  • Water, snacks, and a bagged lunch
  • Weather appropriate clothing. No low neckline shirts.
